I believe permaculture is applied magic and a very deep way to connect with Nature and our inner selves.
My name is Kinga, and this is my permaculture blog.
I started to develop my first permaculture garden in 2001. By now it is a mature forest garden. It is called REGINA Garden and located in Hungary. The garden itself is about 3500 m2 (about an acre). The climate of Hungary can be described as typical European continental influenced climate with warm, dry summers and fairly cold winters.
The garden is also a community space where training sessions, seminars, retreats, community events take place since 2008.

Since 2014, I have also been involved in various permaculture related activities in Malta.
In the Summer of 2015, I started the conversion of a traditional Maltese villa-garden into a permaculture paradise. The owner of the garden kindly offered the space for this experiment.
The aim of the project is to explore the potential of already established houses and “mainstream” gardens and turning them into edible, permaculture spaces, with increased biodiversity and more harmony with nature, while low in added energy and resource intake.
The garden is called Juno Heights Garden (click on the link for the homepage).

Permaculture is beautifully simple and utterly complex at the same time. Based on some very simple and straightforward principles, a complex web of emotional, spiritual and practical implications emerge, once someone decides to walk the permaculture path.
I strongly believe that permaculture and feminism need to go hand in hand in order to achieve sustainable livelihood for all creatures of Earth.
Nature and women are exploited in very similar ways and by very similar means. (Listen to this presentation to learn more about ecofeminism.)
Working towards increased harmony of Humankind, by applying permaculture principles to both our environmental and social activities, is one of the major aims of my life.
